The wedding ceremony of Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan is one of the most-hyped and much-awaited Bollywood events. Here is a good news for the people, who are waiting to see Saifeena’s marriage bliss. They are getting married in the first week of April soon after the release of their film Agent Vinod.

It was reported earlier that Agent Vinod was scheduled to release in February 2011 and Kareena Kapoor had confirmed to tie the knot with Saif Ali Khan after its release. But sources now claim that Agent Vinod is releasing on March 23 and the Bollywood couple is getting hitched in the first week of April.

However, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, who recently completed the shooting for the film Agent Vinod, have left for their holidays. Since Agent Vinod is Saif Ali Khan’s first production venture, the couple have lot of expectation from it. They will start the promotional works of the film after returning from holidays.

Soon after the release of Agent Vinod on March 23, they will head to tie the knot in the first week of April and then Saif-Kareena will go for their honeymoon also. Sources further claim that Kareena does not want to delay her marriage anymore. So, she has already started planning for the big day of her life.

Stars, nowadays, right from Amitabh Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan have made their presence quite clear on social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook and through blogging. However, where on one hand, actors and actresses are lining up to sign up on such sites, the recently crowned nawab Saif Ali Khan is quite the self-confessed recluse when it comes to social networking sites.

Sources claim that one of the main reasons Langda Tyagi has stayed away from such networking sites is because he doesn’t want to undergo the pressure of coming up with some witty and clever remark all the time. Moreover, the princely Khan also believes that while the Internet is a great platform for many things, he does not feel the need to share his every passing thought with the public.

Incidentally, Ranbir Kapoor, the cousin brother of Saif’s beau Kareena also reportedly abhors social networking sites and has this opinion that stars should maintain an aura of mystery around themselves, which vanishes if they remain accessible to the public at large through such websites.

Guess it’s not so easy to ‘poke’ royalty, eh Mr. Khan?

Saba Ali Khan, Tiger Pataudi’s daughter, said on a recent visit to Bhopal that a formal pagdi ceremony for Saif Ali Khan will take place in Pataudi soon. “After the 40 days of mourning for Abba, this ceremony will take place. I will also participate in the ceremony,” said Saba.

The pagdi ceremony is symbolic of inheriting the title of Nawab of Pataudi. For this ceremony, representatives of all the 52 villages under Pataudi province bring a 9 metre-long pagdi for the Nawab. Recalling Tiger’s pagdi ceremony, Anwar Khan of Bhopal said, “After tying three pagdis, each 9m long, Nawab sahab folded his hands and suggested that a coin, instead of pagdis, will do. He took the remaining pagdis in his hand, as a gesture of acceptance of people’s respect.”
