Chote Nawab, Saif Ali Khan really knows the trick to woo his lady love. Be it Kareena or Rosa, he’s always had the hottest babes around him. Saif, who’s got a rockstar hidden inside him says, “I started playing the guitar when I was 17, though it took me long to master the art. It took me longer to learn it to impress a girl.”

Saif, who is also not keeping well since a few days says there’s nothing to worry about , “the doctor has given me some medicines and I am feeling much better now,” adds the actor.

These days, the Team Aarakshan, including Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Manoj Bajpai, are participating in interactives session with selected undergraduate and post graduate students in Mumbai.

Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone are set to appear as special guests on the upcoming fifth season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, said megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

Bachchan, 68, will host the show for the fourth time, which is scheduled to go on air from August 15.

“The second episode towards the evening will have invites to Saif and Deepika… who come to promote their film and mine as well – Aarakshan!” wrote Bachchan on his blog.

“In many ways the philosophy of the film and that of KBC is quite similar. Given the opportunity, even the lesser privileged shall prosper. Or at least have the capacity to prosper,” he added.

Directed by Prakash Jha, Aarakshan will see Bachchan portraying the role of Prabhakar Anand, a principal, who is against reservations in the education system. The socio-political film is set to release on August 12.

Khan had earlier appeared with actress Preity Zinta in the second season of the show, while Padukone came as a guest last year although she didn’t play.

Saif Ali Khan is patching up with all those years he has lost. This is his second innings in Bollywood and the most fruitful one. He is ultra-busy with work doing film projects one after the other. He just wrapped up Prakash Jha’s ‘Aarakshan’ and is finishing shoot on his ambitious home production ‘Agent Vinod’.

Saif will also be seen in his another home production along with Deepika Padukone titled ‘Cocktail’. Further, he has also been offered two very lucrative offers. One being ‘Go Goa Goa’ that is touted to be India’s first ever zombie movie and director Raj Kumar Yadav’s ‘Ghanchakkar’.

It is also reported that post the debacle of ‘Jhoota Hi Sahi’, Abbas Tyrewala has come up with something really interesting and wants to cast Saif as the lead. Well, all we can say is that the nawab is back in demand.

The Maharashtra government has said that it would ask the producers of Aarakshan to screen the film to all those who have reservations against its theme. Adding to the controversies surrounding Prakash Jha’s film, Maharashtra Home Minister R.R. Patil on July 29, 2011 said the government would ask the makers of Aarakshan to screen it to all those who have reservations against it before its release to meet law and order concerns.

However, with his move, the home minister seems to be overstepping the Censor Board’s authority. The Censor Board has already given a green signal to the film. Aarakshan, featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Prateek Babbar, addresses the issue of reservation for backward castes. It is scheduled to release on August 12.

Here’s your chance to study in a ‘school’ where megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be the principal, and actors Saif Ali Khan, Manoj Bajpayee and Prateik Babbar will teach music, acting and the arts to students.
The initiative, for the promotion of Prakash Jha’s forthcoming film Aarakshan, on caste-based reservations in the Indian education system, is being organised by a radio station.
“We are delighted to partner with Prakash Jha’s Aarakashan, who has given audiences some excellent dramatic movies in the past and Aarakshan promises to be live up to the hype. With this contest we are giving listeners the chance to interact and learn from their favourite filmstars,” Nisha Narayanan of the radio station, said in a press statement.

Red FM is running a contest across seven of its stations in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur and Indore. One lucky winner each from these cities will be brought to Mumbai, and will be tutored by the cast of Aarakshan.
The event will be held 2nd August in Mumbai, with Jha giving lessons in economics and social science.
